Name: Rebecca Desired Character: Belle Black Appearance: Background history: Belle is the daughter of John Black and Marlena Evans, making her the half-sister of Samantha (Sami) Brady, Brady Black and Eric Brady. Originally, the residents of Salem believed that Belle was the daughter of Marlena and Roman Brady. In truth, Belle was the product of a one-night-affair between Marlena and John Black; her true parentage might never have been revealed if it weren't for her older sister, Sami Brady, who discovered the truth and kept the secret for several months
During her formidable teen years at Salem High School, Belle started an ill-fated relationship with (at the time) bad boy Philip Kiriakis, but soon devoted all her attention to Shawn-Douglas Brady. Best friends with Mimi Lockhart, she also added new girl Chloe Lane to her circle of friends. All of Belle's peers were shocked to see her spending time with "Ghoul Girl" Chloe, but eventually, everyone accepted their friendship.
Belle joined her fellow teens on a trip to Puerto Rico, where they were supposed to study the environment. Instead, she, Shawn and Philip went on an adventure to find some missing jewels, including a ruby belonging to Alice Horton. Much to the dismay of the criminally-minded Paul, the teens were successful, and Shawn was able to return the ruby to his great-grandmother.
A few years later did She have a one-night-stand with Shawn as she was together with Philip and she became pregnant. They all thought she was pregnant with Philip's baby but a few months after Claire were born did they all find out that it wasn't Philip who was the daddy. She and Philip got a divorce (but she still feels attactive to him) and letting Shawn see his daughter.

Definitely approved, April. I am very impressed with how in depth you are with you history and getting into the Sami Brady character. Be sure to read the rules and agree/disagree accordingly before changing your profile and beginning to rp as Sami! Welcome. I can not wait to see where you take Sami. Congratulations!

Okay, I will be sure to fix that. Thank you for the comments. (And a big thank you to the whole nonexistent Chloe/Lucas relationship!) I will read the storyline for Chloe as well, and then modify this application. Thank you for allowing me a chance to do so.
Okay...done and done.

Really good app. Very extensive history. I am only slightly nitpicky for one reason. I wanted you to play off the storylines as they have been presented for your character. However, to really know what's going on with your character, you will need to read other people's storylines. Lucas and I are not together in this role play. Never have been. Never will be. Please read through the rest of the storylines and adjust your sample to reflect the storyline that has been presented. Wait for Chelsea's approval/rejection and then I will have my final say. Very impressed with the app aside from the storyline issue though. Great job.
Background history: Samantha Gene Brady never had an easy life. She was born a twin, and always stuck with her twin brother Eric. For the majority of her childhood, she believed that John Black was Roman Brady, her father. A carefree child, she was John-as-Roman's "Peanut," and loved playing with him, Eric, and Izzy-B (Isabella Toscano Black.) Her mother Marlena had been presumed dead about a year after Sami first started calling John her father, and she did not know Marlena was alive until later in her childhood. The real Roman was also later found alive, and because Roman thought he was doing the right thing to help Eric and Sami with their sadness about losing the only father they had known, the two were sent to boarding school in Colorado.
Sami returned a conflicted teenager. She fell for Austin Reed, her half-sister Carrie's boyfriend, and then met the military brat Lucas Roberts. Lucas fell for Carrie, and Sami and Lucas began plotting how to get Austin and Carrie, respectively, for themselves. Lucas convinced Sami to go on a crash diet to impress Austin, which then caused Sami to be bullimic. Sami also caught her mother having an affair with John, and tried selling baby Isabella "Belle" Black (thought to be Brady) on the black market so her father would not be hurt. Belle was then returned to Marlena by John, who did indeed turn out to be Belle's father.
Sami and Lucas persisted in breaking up Austin and Carrie, but in the meantime, Sami began dating Alan Harris. Alan raped her, and because Sami tested negative for any STDs or pregnancy, she looked like a liar at his trial. The charges were dropped, and Alan held Sami at gunpoint. She shot him in the groin. In the Basic Black darkroom, she turned toward Lucas and the two engaged in premarital matters. However, Sami still believed herself in love with Austin, and so gave him a date-rape drug and raped him. When Austin found out, he told Sami it would never happen again, which led to Sami leaving town.
Sami again came back when Carrie and Austin were about to be married. Sami crashed the wedding and said she was pregnant with Austin's child. Will was born, and Austin did whatever possible to help Sami in any way. Sami, however, kept scheming to drive Carrie and Austin apart. Kate Roberts, Austin and Lucas' mother, found out, and Sami was busted. Baby Will was kidnapped and sold on the black market, which forced Sami and Austin to get married to get him back.
Austin clearly stated that an annullment would occur once he, Sami, and Will returned to Salem. However, Sami refused the annullment and stole Austin's car so he could not have a romantic trip with Carrie. Austin's car went berserk, but when Sami tried to warn him, he did not listen to her. Austin accidentally ran Sami over twice, and Sami spent a good amount of time in the ICU. It seemed as if she would breathe her last, but she pulled through and had a case of paralysis and amnesia. Austin pretended to be a loving husband so that Sami would get better and get the annullment.
Sami successfully pretended to be amnesiac for a while, and still opposed Marlena and John's relationship. However, the return of Roman and her twin Eric brought the truth out a bit. Sami had noticed that Will could not be Austin's since his bloodtype was Lucas', and though she manipulated Austin into a wedding, everyone found out the truth. Lucas, who had been her best friend, loathed her from that moment on.
Franco Kelly came into town and planned on marrying Sami to get a green card--even though he could not stand her. Sami also accused Lucas of child abuse to keep full parental rights of Will, which caused Lucas to become an alcoholic. Austin caught Franco intimately pursuing a stripper named Candi, and told Sami. Sami threatened murder on Franco, and so when he turned up dead, she was the immediate suspect. After all, it did not help that she held the weapon when the police showed up. Austin took Sami and Will on the run, but Sami was brought back for a lethal injection. At the last possible minute, Lucas burst into the room shouting that he had murdered Franco--which he had. Sami was saved, and the charges were dropped, but nothing happened with Lucas because someone else professed that they had killed Franco.
Austin and Sami soon became engaged, but when Austin found out that Sami had lied about Lucas abusing Will, he left town. Sami was lost without Austin, and soon began constantly plotting to get revenge on Kate and Lucas. Sami fell for Brandon Walker, but still schemed. Sami and Brandon got engaged, but as Sami had switched the DNA results of Lexie Carver's baby after finding out Brandon had slept wtith her, Brandon found out and left her only hours after they married.
Sami went to confront Tony DiMera at his mansion when she learned he was involved in Brandon's realization of the truth. An argument occurred, with Lucas in the same room, and when Sami went on the defensive, Tony pushed her away from him. Unfortunately, this movement caused Sami to fall through the glass French doors. It once again looked like she would die, and Lucas became incredibly emotional. Luckily, Sami pulled through, although had suffered damage to her vocal chords and could not speak for a while. Lucas and Sami grew closer, and even more so after Sami regained her voice back.
The Salem Stalker soon came to town, and when Sami lost her mother, father, and grandmother, Lucas was the one who helped her from doing something stupid. Lucas and Sami finally got engaged, but the wedding was called off when Lucas found Sami in bed with her ex Brandon. Although it was a set-up by Kate and had involved the use of drugs, Lucas refused any explanations from Sami, and Sami left town.
She soon donned the disguise of "Stan" and began unknowingly working for Tony. She had been offered a chance to get back at all of her enemies and been told that her parents were still alive. Sami-as-Stan tortured many of Salem's residents--such as offering John pain killers to the point of where he became addicted, teasing Billie Reed (Kate's daughter) with a doll about her possible alive daughter--and then got caught up in the overseas war where Philip Kiriakis (Kate's son) was. With Brady Black (Sami's stepbrother), Shawn Douglas Brady (Sami's cousin), Lucas, and Rex Brady (Sami's half-brother) coming to try and rescue Philip, they also stumbled across "Stan". Everyone but Lucas did not trust "Stan", but when "Stan" saved Lucas' life, they thought a bit differently. Sami soon lost the disguise, and then returned with the Salem-ites as herself.
People in Salem blamed "Stan" for quite a lot, and Lucas was bound and determined to find him. When Sami finally exposed Kate for a liar (she had gotten ahold of tapes proving that Kate had indeed set her up), Lucas was quite apologetic and proposed to Sami again. On the day of their wedding, however, Sami was found to be "Stan." Lucas called off the wedding yet again.
Sami was to be arrested for being a traitor to her country, but Austin showed up and got her out of it since Tony had never officially been declared an enemy of the United States. Austin gave Sami a job with his company around the same time Carrie returned. Lucas wanted Carrie, and Sami wanted Austin, so, desperate to keep Austin and Carrie apart, Sami blackmailed Lexie into telling Carrie that any children she had with Austin would have birth defects. Carrie really wanted a child, so stayed away from Austin. Carrie and Lucas married with the thought that they were pregnant, but when Carrie found out she could never have children, she wanted Austin again. Sami and Austin got engaged, but at the wedding, Sami recieved a threat that someone would destroy her if she did not forget about the wedding. She fled the church, and to her new friend E.J. Wells DiMera. The threat also told her to let Lucas have full custody of Will, and she did not comply. Will disappeared, and Sami was led to believe that he had been kidnapped. Lucas caught Austin and Carrie together, and told Carrie that their marriage was over. Will had run away to Chicago, and returned, perfectly fine. Lucas moved in with Sami and Will.
Sami started working for E.J., and counted him as a close friend. However, when he showed signs of wanting to rape her, she severed ties with him. She then focused on a relationship with Lucas, but when Lucas got stuck after a ski cabin cave-in, Sami was forced to ask a fugitive E.J. for help. E.J. agreed, telling her that he would if she helped him escape the state. His terms quickly increased, though; her body or Lucas' life. E.J. raped Sami, and then left.
Sami was enjoying being with Lucas, but worried about what had happened with E.J. She feared if Lucas found out, he would leave again. Sami found out she was pregnant, and was distraught when she told Lucas simply because she thought it was E.J.'s kid. E.J. demanded an ultrasound when he returned, and Sami tried to fake the results. However, that did not work, and E.J. was adamant. Sami planned to kill E.J., and thought she had, but later found out otherwise.
Lucas and Sami got married, and at their wedding, Lucas found out the truth. He listened even more on their wedding night, and said he loved Sami and would not leave her. The two got involved in a mystery which later led to the discovery that Colleen Brady (Sami's great-aunt) and Santo DiMera (E.J.'s grandfather) had been in love. E.J. still demanded a test, and finally it was learned that Lucas was the father of both Sami's twins. However, when the twins were born, Allie and Johnny were discovered to have different fathers--Lucas being Allie's and E.J. being Johnny's.
Sami divorced Lucas in order to marry E.J. and fulfill a DiMera-Brady relationship requirement, thinking she was doing the best thing for her family. Lucas showed up to Sami and E.J.'s wedding and shot E.J. in the back, which then brought Lucas to jail. Will moved to Switzerland to live with Austin and Carrie, and Sami and E.J. grew closer. E.J. paid a Customs official to say his Visa was in question, which made Sami pretend that she and E.J. were involved in a loving relationship.
Lucas was released, although he had been sentenced to ten years, and walked in on Sami and E.J. in bed. Lucas was furious, and Sami was torn between the two men. She then was in danger of losing both, and E.J. began finding love with Nicole Walker and Lucas with Chloe Lane.
Lucas found Sami on the floor one day, and the two discovered she was pregnant. The kid was E.J.'s, but Sami was worried about Stefano and did not want to tell E.J. When Lucas encouraged her enough to tell E.J., she went to the DiMera mansion and became a witness to a murder. She saw the murderer's face and told the police, but was later almost killed. Roman was worried about his daughter, and sent Sami to live in a safe house.
Sami was assigned a bodyguard by the name of Rafe Hernandez in the Witness Protection Program, and enjoyed keeping her secret about the baby from E.J. even longer. Sami and Rafe fought constantly--mainly due to Sami's breach of the program--but eventually became friends.
(I left the history the same because of the way it actually is, but am changing the sample. Is that okay?)
Sample Post: Sami Gene Brady could not remember a time when she had not been consumed by puzzlement. This whole thing with E.J. and Lucas was too much for her to handle. Her marriage to Lucas had been over before it even began, and getting pregnant a second time with DiMera Wells' kid would not be good for whatever relationship they might have again in the future. Sami had believed she could make something work, but with the miscarriage, her life was yet again a state of confusion. She only hoped that Lucas would not hate her forever if he discovered what had transpired.
The subject of Lucas Roberts Horton was quite a confusing thing in itself. Her relationship with him had always consisted of walking on eggshells, and she still could not remember when they had crossed the line between love and hate. In any case, their failed engagements and failed marriage spoke volumes about the future. Sami still wished for some kind of stability so that her firstborn would not have to continuously get his hopes up and be immediately letdown yet again.
She had not spoken to Will for a couple of months. He had returned to his aunt and uncle in Switzerland, and she had not been able to have contact with him when she had been in the Witness Protection Program. Although she had found a new close friend in Rafe, she had absolutely loathed the program. Safehouses and living secretly just were not for her. The only secrets she would willingly deal with were quietly whispered or locked up in her mind, not physical secrecy. Except for her stint as Stan, life on the run was a despised subject. Now that she had returned, Will would be coming home in a few weeks. Sami could not wait to see him.
Stepping into her old apartment that she had just bought back, Sami slipped off her coat. The chilly weather made going anywhere almost unbearable, but it had been imperative for her to run a few errands. "There, now. We're home," Sami told her daughter, setting her on the couch. Allie had been fussy the entire time Sami was running around Salem Place, and with Johnny spending the night at E.J.'s, Allie's favorite brother had not been there to comfort her. Sami did not particularly approve of Nicole Walker being around her child, but E.J. did have some fatherly rights. And Sami still held some kind of emotion for him. Lucas and E.J...why could her life never cease from being so frustratingly complicated?!
As soon as Sami had dropped off her purse in her bedroom, there was a knock at the door. "One second," Sami said, unlatching the lock.
Think of the devil and he appears, Sami thought with a slight grin. Lucas stamped off the snow and turned toward Sami. "Look, Allie. The General's here," Sami told her daughter. "Come to throw whatever one night stand you had this time in my face, Lucas? And don't even bring up E.J. That is a completely different scenario."
Although she did not really have a say because of her involvement with E.J., Sami was disgusted with Lucas' recent line of flings. She did like that he had not gone after one of her family, though. It seemed like Lucas was always becoming romantically intertwined with some kind of relation to Sami. First Carrie, then Carrie again, and Cassie...Sami felt like hurling at the grotesqueness of it all.
As if she needed anything else to weigh her down, Sami was trying to keep from spilling to Brady about the interaction she had seen between his wife and that Dr. Daniel Jonas guy. She knew her stepbrother needed to know, but with all Brady had been through lately, she wanted to try and keep him from doing something stupid. Sami was surprised that she even cared about her stepbrother's emotions, but perhaps around the same time she had lost her animosity for Lucas, she had also gained a certain sisterly respect back for Brady.
"Have you heard from Will?" Sami asked, anxious to see her little boy. Or not so little anymore, she remembered.

Like sands through the hour glass, so are the days of our lives…
Stefano DiMera has returned to Salem after being in a coma for years. His money bought the best doctors and the best medical care. When he came back, he learned that his long-time nemesis is in fact his little brother. Stefano kept John alive and brainwashed him into believing that he was his pawn yet again. With Stefano and John living in the DiMera household, will either of them survive? What does the two of them being back in Salem have in store for the rest of the residents?
